Because we wanted to produce a guide that genuinely helps people.

Meet Zerin

Zerin Beattie has been practicing meditation for the last 15 years, studying techniques in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cambodia, Thailand, Peru, and South Korea. He has participated in dozens of Plant Medicine ceremonies with beautiful shamanic healers around the world, and has practiced martial arts for more than 10 years.

Zerin founded XPAND in 2014 to empower people with life-changing resources to bridge the gap between the body, heart, and mind in the modern world. Through years of cultivation, refinement, and practice he has discovered methods and philosophies that genuinely help expand consciousness.

    We do not wish to mold or create you into any fashion, but rather more provide you with the resources and opportunity to genuinely become more YOU.

    You hold a unique perspective and medicine to provide the world… and we support you in discovering what that means for you and the collective good.

  • This process has been designed to help you build a better relationship with your intuition and to intuitively move through the course material in what feels proper for you.

    Practically speaking, each phase includes journal prompts, meditation prompts, quests, guest speaker videos, additional coaching videos, and weekly zoom calls with the community to touch base and support each other through the process.

  • This is one of our most common questions and one of the biggest misconceptions about meditation and mindfulness. There is a lot of worry or fear that lies around if meditation is about worshiping another god or deity, if this will pull you away from your current belief, etc.

    What we have found through this group (and life experience) is that meditation and mindfulness are more about rebuilding your relationship with whatever the divine would mean for you, from your own heart and being. Which has led to MULTIPLE Become Members building a much deeper and more personal relationship with their own faith through the process. Although this is not guaranteed - is has been a very potent and common response.

    Meditation and mindfulness also don’t need to be associated to any religious background or faith, but more so about becoming more present and finding better ways to be a person.

  • Absolutely not! People join The Become Program from all different levels of meditation experience, ranging from beginner to advanced, and all receive the insights they need for exactly where they are in their development.

    We genuinely feel that we are always meditating, but to what depth and degree is determined by how mindful, perceptive, receptive, and present we are.

    We all begin somewhere, and you are probably already further along than you know :)

  • Although everyone can benefit from the methods in this program… One must be ready for sincere change in their life, hold an open heart and mind through the process, and be willing to put in the work. Not only for themselves, but for the container of the group and community too.

    Only you know if you are ready for sincere change, but a healthy level of encouragement doesn’t hurt either :)

  • Although the group experience is only 10 weeks… This course does not expire and you can come back to the videos, content, and guest speaker recordings at anytime.
